These vehicles have been exclusively designed to convert them into mobile royal palaces, which offer a unique blend of the royal ambience of the bygone eras and the hi-tech modern amenities. The Royal Time Machine will have regular morning and evening tours apart from the facility of customized tours for specific groups based on their interest.

The Royal Time Machine aims to provide such a commemorative regal experience showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage the way it hasn’t been showcased to the world ever before.”
The Royal Time Machine has launched 2 of its vehicles for Delhi in the first phase of the project and plans to expand the service to cover the golden triangle by next year. The planned investment in the project is to the tune of Rs 40 crore over the next 5 years.
Said Ms. Shivani Chopra, Promoter, The Royal Time Machine, “Our research shows that there is a huge gap between the demand and supply of quality services in the intra-city tours segment. We aim to capitalize upon the opportunity and tap on the inherent latent potential of the market.”
Originally meant to be 55-seaters, The Royal Time Machines will accommodate not more than 19 people so as to provide the best of comforts to its customers. Complete with plush interiors and a host of world-class amenities, The Royal Time Machine will enable the high-end tourists to travel through time and revisit the golden era in the ambience of royal luxury.
The Royal Time Machines will have two different themes of the Rajput and the Mughal periods. The interiors of The Royal Time Machine give the glimpse of that era with paintings, chandeliers, hukkas, surahis and lamps etc. The entire staff is dressed in styles reminiscent of that period to create a truly royal experience!
The Royal Time Machine has on board a number of modern amenities for its customers, the kind that are expected from a 5-Star hotel in the city. These include:
- 4 LCD screens which run the entire route and show a film (created exclusively for The Royal Time Machine) on the regal history of Delhi
- Multi lingual voice-overs will allow non-English speaking tourists to enjoy the film in a language of their own choice.
- Large comfortable couches to accommodate only 19 people in the space originally meant for a 55-seater
- Chemical restrooms
- A kitchenette
- A bar to serve drinks
- Traditionally dressed host and hostess and an attendant to serve snacks and drinks
- Tour guide and interpreter
In short, anything and everything that might be required by the discerning traveler would be available on-board. The Royal Time Machines would stop at the relevant monuments and archaeological sites in the city for a guided tour, which would be offered in different languages based on the convenience and the preference of the clientèle.
Some of the historical monuments that will be covered by The Royal Time Machine include Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Lodi Gardens, Safdarjung Tomb, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple etc. The evening tour will also feature a folk and classical program.
The Royal Time Machine tour packages are priced at USD 160 for the morning tours and USD 165 for the evening tours. The fee will include all the costs associated with the tour including entry fee to the monuments, drinks and snacks on board, service charges and applicable taxes.
